A sing-along song from Trick Rider
Rise and Ride
A modern, upbeat sing-along song for kids about being brave, getting back up when you fall and flying high on wings like eagles.
Engine's roaring at the top of the hill,
All the words
Verse 1
Engine's roaring at the top of the hill,
Big jump waiting and my heart won't keep still,
Deep breath, I remember what You say:
“Be strong! I'm with you all the way!”
Pre-chorus
When I wait on You, You renew my strength,
Every jump and every fall, I know that I can…
Chorus
Rise and ride! Hey!
Wings like eagles, I will fly!
Rise and ride! Hey!
Run and never tire, You're by my side!
Post-chorus
Whoa, oh, oh, oh! When I fall, I rise!
Whoa, oh, oh, oh! Rise and ride!
Verse 2
Took a tumble, hit the ground with a thud,
But I'm getting right back up from the mud!
If someone falls down, I'll lend a hand,
Together we ride, together we stand!
Bridge
When I fall, I will arise,
When it's dark, You are my light,
When I'm weak, You make me strong,
You're my strength and my song!
Chorus
Rise and ride! Hey!
Wings like eagles, I will fly!
Rise and ride! Hey!
Run and never tire, You're by my side!
Post-chorus
Whoa, oh, oh, oh! When I fall, I rise!
Whoa, oh, oh, oh! Rise and ride!
Ending
Rise and ride! Hey!

About the song
“Rise and Ride” is for every big jump and every tumble: deep breath, be brave, and when you fall, get right back up, because God is with you all the way. It grew from Isaiah 40:31 and Micah 7:8 (“when I fall, I will arise”), with a shout-along “whoa-oh” and a big drop at the end. Written for Trick Rider, where it plays (without the words) while you fly off ramps and flip through the air.
“But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint.”
Isaiah 40:31 (World English Bible)
