How to play

A world of blocks to explore and build in: walk, fly and swim over an island with hills, a river, woods and a beach, then build houses, bridges, gardens and towers with 89 kinds of blocks, from lanterns and bells to doors that open. Friendly animals wander about, the day turns into a cosy night, and your worlds stay on your device. Share a world with a link, or build together online with up to three friends.

• W A S D or the arrows to walk, the mouse to look. Space jumps; tap Space twice to fly (Shift goes down).
• Left click removes a block, right click builds one. Middle click (or C) picks the block you look at. 1 to 9 or the mouse wheel choose a block; E opens every block.
• On a phone or tablet held sideways: the stick walks, drag on the right to look round, tap a block to build on it or remove it (the Build / Remove switch says which), the wings fly.
• Tap or click an animal to say hello. Open doors, ring bells, sleep in a bed until morning, and put up signs with words and pictures.
• Undo (Ctrl+Z) takes back the last change. Your worlds save on this device by themselves: nothing is sent to us.
• “Share my world” makes a link with your whole world in it: a friend gets their own copy. Online: tap “Online with friends”, start, and send the invite to build together (up to 4 builders).
