How to play

The classic board game, made friendly. Put down a disc to trap a line of the other colour, and watch them all flip over to yours. Play the computer from Easy, just right for beginners, up to Expert, which even grown-ups find hard. Or play a brother, sister or parent on the same device, or a friend online with a game code. Dots show where you can play, and against the computer you can take back a move.

• Tap a square to put down a disc. The dots show where you can play.
• Your disc must trap a straight line of the other colour (across, up and down, or corner to corner) between it and one of your discs.
• The trapped discs flip over to your colour. No move? You pass.
• When nobody can move, the most discs wins. Corners can never be flipped back!
• 2 players: tap “2 players” and take turns on the same device.
• Online: tap “Online with friends”, then “Start a game” and send the invite, or type the code a friend sent you.
